Wine-ding down the week 10

J once brought to my attention that I live life always looking forward to the next big event/plans/vacation.  It was always…216 days until vacation or 1 more month until blank is over.  I didn’t think it was the worst thing to be excited for something in the future. BUT, I think it was preventing me from enjoying everyday, even the routine weekdays.  SO now I try to live my life not always looking forward to what is bigger and better, but also enjoying a quiet Thursday where I don’t do much else other than take care of K and take walks with the baby and dog….like yesterday.  We had 10,000 steps in before 11 am!  But STILL…I can’t help but look forward to a Friday 🙂

Shall we wine-d it down?

Oh I am excited about this one.  When we lived in Montclair we actually got a whole box of this wine since we were surrounded by BYOB restaurants.  That was a couple of years ago so we had bought a different year, which can make the biggest difference!! But, again this wine did not disappoint.

This is a GREAT light drinking red that really I feel could be palatable for everyone, even if you aren’t a huge red fan.  It is the perfect dinner wine because the flavor isn’t too intense so it can be enjoyed with many different foods.  It was about 10 bucks.  Such an awesome wine for the price in my opinion. And the label is beautifulllll. It reminds me of our wedding invitations.

This is definitely in my top 3!!

Cabernet Sauvignon
2016 California

Grade: A++, this is so so highly recommended!!

We are about to pile in the car to go down the shore.  It should be a nice cool weekend and we are very much looking forward to it.

I hope you have fun weekend plans!  AND I hope you try this wine 🙂  Let me know if you do!!
