Seaside Summer.

We did a beach weekend even though the weather was not predicted to be great.  But shore weather is so weird so you never know.  We drove down late Friday afternoon.

This picture cracks me up, Kona looks terrified.  She takes a little while to get settled in the car.  When we got down there J and I went out to dinner at Ebbys while mom and dad stayed with the sleeping baby. Took for-eve-er.  I don’t know how long it will take us to learn that it is better just to eat at home.  But it was still good to get out on our own, mamas ya hear me?

It was garage sale weekend so on Saturday we walked around for most of the morning.  We found some great baby stuff to keep down the shore so it was a successful garage sale shop!  We went to the beach after lunch and hung there for most of the afternoon.  K HATES sunglasses.  And anything on his head really.img_2315

He was a big fan of his tent though so happily played in there.

We cooked dinner at the house.  We tried to eat outside but a storm rolled in and we made it inside JUST in time before it started pouring.  We walked for ice cream later in the night and got caught in a huge downpour.  Ha we all ran the half mile home cracking up because it was crazy torrential rain.  We were drenched and I wish I took a picture because it was hilarious how wet we were.

We left Sunday morning since it was raining and didn’t look like it was going to let up.  We did laundry and rearranged our living room area and just relaxed with some wine.

Why do weekends always go so fast!?  We have some delicious meals planned for the week and goals to get some consistent workouts in.

Cheers to Monday!  Wishing everyone a good start to the week!
