Wine-ding down the week 6

Hello hello! We made it though the week! We are headed down the shore tonight but I’m popping in to share some wine!

We recently got into drinking reds aged in a bourbon barrel. It gives it some really great depth. This one actually was pretty light compared to others I have had. I would say the bourbon gives it a vanilla smell and definitely has notes of cherry. I think the bottle cost us 12 bucks (COSTCO). Eh. It was okay. I’m very picky with my reds. So that said…

Robert Mondavi
Private Selection
Cabernet Sauvignon
Monterey County 2016
Grade: C

(Although J VERY MUCH disagrees. He loves this wine. And had more of it. Haha.)

Have a great weekend!!
