The Willow Pump.

Happy Wednesday! I hope everyday is having a great week, we made it over the hump!

When we had Kaden I told myself I would make every effort to breastfeed him until he is a year old. It has not been total smooth sailing but we are doing okay. A clogged duct and milk blister last night was quite the event but we survived and today has been much better. One thing that has been a total life saver has been the Willow pump.

It is a newer pump, totally wire and tube free. It allows you to pump without being attached to an outlet. It only has two parts which makes cleaning a breeze.

The only downside is the cost. It has a hearty price tag and the bags are one of a kind and 50 cents per bag.

But the freedom you have and how fast you can start pumping has been a total game changer for me. I was concerned about building a supply for when I go back to work and this has made it so easy to do while also caring for the baby. I felt like every time I sat down to pump he would want attention. This has made that a non issue. It sits in your nursing bra and as soon as you are properly “latched” you can be up and about. I think the cost was worth it since I plan to use it for any future children.

Ha we got a new nursing necklace today which he loves to play with so now he’s less fidgety and grabby. Kona photo bomb!

These thoughts are all my own and I just love this pump so much I wanted to share! Let me know if you have any questions about it!!
