Today we went to grandma w AND great-grandma’s houses today for visits. This little baby gets all the love when we go.
Anyone else’s kid all thrown off when you are out and about for a day? He wouldn’t nurse or nap well so by the time dinner time rolled around he was a slight disaster. Somehow I still managed to get a healthy meal on the table.
Turkey meatballs with roasted zucchini and sweet potatoes. We had this sauce drizzled on top for a little Asian flair. And when I say drizzle I mean it because it is slightly salty, a little goes a long way. I mixed the ground turkey with egg whites, panko bread crumbs, shredded zucchini, garlic, and salt and pepper. So good!
We finally got the baby content and sleeping in his crib. I ended the night with some ice cream therapy.
Definitely not my favorite low calorie ice cream choice. I always seem to forget that while grocery shopping. It’s too ice-y and not creamy enough!
I’ll end with a picture of the Grumpy Gus! Sheesh. What a day.
We have a decent routine going on our days at home. I think I need to try to figure out something more scheduled though. How early can you get baby on a real schedule? Is 3 months too early or should we have done this already??
