Hi friends! I feel like the whole month of February just flew by. Not upset about it since February is my least favorite month but still!
I did a little baking this week. Good old chocolate chip cookies and then a healthier oatmeal raisin cookie.
The chocolate chip cookie recipe that I followed is right on the back of the chocolate chip bag (<– this blogger wrote it all out.) Real fancy right? But they are the best!
The other recipe I found on a instagram account I follow called littlemissfoodie. LOVE all the food she creates. She does a lot of healthy recipes and because of her food intolerance they are all gluten-free. These are her oatmeal raisin cookies. I added pecans too. I can’t figure out how to link the post but she posted this on instagram on January 23rd!
Here’s a weird quirk about me… when I go out to a restaurant I often (not always) will only take a few bites of my dinner just so I can have amazing leftovers the next day. J likes to get an appetizer but often I am full after just that, so I doggie bag my dinner right up and I have an amazing amazing lunch or 2. The little things get me excited now. #thisis30
Today Mom and I went to this HUGE consignment shop to browse the baby toys. If you are local, the spot is here. Mama and daughter both love to snag a good deal. We got K a bunch of new toys for like 20 bucks. I hate spending a lot of money on baby toys because he grows out of them so fast. But I felt like he was bored so we spiced up his life a bit. We did not buy him this car but he sure was upset when getting out of it. He loves cars and grabbing on to steering wheels haha.
I am working 12 hr shifts the next 2 days but I hope to still get a wine post up tomorrow!
